BMW E70

The BMW E70 is a vehicle platform that will be used as the foundation for the X5, an advanced SUV that will be produced by the company. The BMW E70 is expected to be the replacement of the BMW E53. The company plans on releasing the vehicle before the end of 2007, and it will be much larger than the BMW E53. In fact, this new SUV will be so large that it is capable of holding two additional people. BMW chose to increase the size of this SUV due to criticism that has been made towards the existing generation. When it comes to the design of the E70, it seems that the company has decided to stick with tradition.

The design for this new SUV is not radically more different than the E53. However, for what the vehicle lacks in looks, it makes this up with the technology under the hood. Many experts have said that this vehicle uses some of the most advanced technology to be seen among four wheel drive vehicles. Road tests conducted on the vehicle indicate that it has a high level of precision, and run flat tires have been added to further enhance the quality of driving it. While it is not the most comfortable SUV in its class, the handling is truly stupendous.

The E70 uses a double wishbone suspension on the front, and this is added to a multi link suspension on the back of the vehicle.When it comes to the chassis, the E70 uses the same system as the 7 Series cars, and this makes it even more impressive. One new feature that this SUV has is the Flex Ray, an electronic network that will exist within the car. Visually, both the interior and exterior of the vehicle are highly impressive. Despite the fact that it is an SUV, the E70 can go from 0 to 62 mph in 6.5 seconds. This very impressive when you consider the weight and design of the vehicle.
